1. General
1.1. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the ALTN Chat social network, including the website https://altn.chat, the iOS and Android mobile apps and related services (together, the "Service").
1.2. The Service, including its software code, design, trademark and the ALTN Chat logo, is owned by Ai Chat Limited, a Private Company registered in the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), BIN 260740900511, registered address: Office 5, 50/3 Turan Avenue, Nura District, Astana, 010000 ("the Company", "we", "us").
1.3. Technical maintenance, hosting, user support and other service functions are performed on behalf of the Company by ALTN LLP, BIN 240240018167, address: Office 82, 2/5 Turkestanskaya Street, Shymkent ("the Service Partner").
1.4. By registering for or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1.5. By registering for the Service, you enter into these Terms with the Company.
2. Who can use the Service
2.1. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
2.2. By registering, you confirm that you are 16 or older. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 16, we may suspend or delete it.
2.3. The Company may introduce age verification.
3. Your account
3.1. Full access to the Service requires registration with a first name, an email address and a password. Last name and username are optional.
3.2. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password confidential and not share your account with others. Any action taken through your account is deemed to be taken by you.
3.3. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, notify us immediately at support@altn.chat.
3.4. You may delete your account at any time in the app settings or on the website.
4. What the Service offers
4.1. The Service allows you to:
send private and group messages;
make audio and video calls;
create and join communities;
publish posts, articles, clips and other content;
comment on, react to and share content.
4.2. The Service is provided "as is". We continuously develop it and may add, change or remove features.
4.3. We aim to keep the Service running without interruption but do not guarantee it. Maintenance breaks and outages may occur, including for reasons beyond our control.
5. Paid features and advertising
5.1. The core features of the Service are free of charge.
5.2. The Company may introduce paid features or subscriptions. Their price, scope and payment terms will be shown in the Service before purchase.
5.3. In-app purchases are paid through the App Store or Google Play. Refunds for such purchases follow the rules of the relevant store.
5.4. The Service may display advertising, including third-party advertising. Advertising will be labelled as such.
6. User content
6.1. You are responsible for everything you publish or send through the Service, including texts, photos, videos, audio, comments and messages ("Content").
6.2. By publishing Content, you confirm that you hold the rights to it and that it does not infringe third-party rights or the law.
6.3. You retain the rights to your Content. By publishing Content in public areas of the Service, you grant the Company a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence. The licence allows the Company to store, reproduce, adapt for display and display the Content within the Service. It is used only to operate and promote the Service and lasts for as long as the Content remains on the Service.
6.4. Private messages are not public Content. The Company does not use them for advertising purposes.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
publish unlawful material, including incitement to terrorism, extremism, violence or hatred on national, religious or any other grounds; promotion of drugs or suicide; pornography; or material that violates the rights of children;
insult, bully, threaten or harass other users;
publish other people's personal data without their consent;
infringe copyright, related rights or trademark rights;
send spam, run scams or distribute malware;
impersonate any person or organisation;
create accounts automatically or collect user data using bots or scripts;
interfere with the Service or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it;
advertise goods or services in breach of the Service's rules.
8. Moderation and liability
8.1. The Company may remove Content, restrict features, or temporarily or permanently suspend an account that breaches these Terms or the law. We may do so without prior notice.
8.2. You can report Content or a user through the in-app report function or at support@altn.chat.
8.3. If you believe your Content was removed or your account suspended by mistake, write to support@altn.chat and we will review your request.
8.4. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company is not liable for users' Content or users' actions on the Service. Nor is it liable for indirect loss, loss of profit or loss of data caused by interruptions to the Service.
8.5. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
9. Intellectual property
9.1. The Service, its software code, design, themes, the ALTN Chat name and logo belong to the Company.
9.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute or commercially use any part of the Service without the Company's written consent.
9.3. If you believe material on the Service infringes your rights, send a notice to support@altn.chat. Include a link to the material and evidence of your rights.

11. Changes to these Terms
11.1. The Company may amend these Terms. The new version will be published in the Service with its date.
11.2. We will notify you of material changes in the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law and disputes
12.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
12.2. The parties will try to resolve any dispute through negotiation. Claims may be sent to support@altn.chat. We will respond within 30 calendar days.
12.3. Any dispute not resolved by negotiation shall be finally resolved by the AIFC Court.
